Kristine
Sales Specialist, Ostomy
Hollister always does what's best for the customer.
I’ve been at Hollister for about two years now and have been in healthcare sales for more than 20 years. I really wasn’t looking for a new position when a got the call about Hollister, but the more interviews I had, the better it got. By the end of the interviews, I felt the stars had aligned and this was the place for me. In fact, I came home from my first day at work at the corporate headquarters and told my husband, “Everyone is so nice,”—I was pinching myself.
I work harder here at Hollister than I’ve worked anywhere else—not because it’s a harder job, but because I want to work harder. I want to go the extra mile. I want to live up to our culture and standards.
Hollister does everything exactly by the letter. We do what’s right for our customers and for our associates. One of our Immutable Principles is integrity. It’s how business is done every day. If challenges arise, we personally go above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs. For example, if an ostomy customer’s luggage is lost when they travel, Hollister will ship the ostomy products to them as quickly as possible.
Managers and the leadership at Hollister are different than management I’ve experience at other places. No one ever says, “not my job.” I can ask any question and they will take to time to do whatever is necessary to find the answer. It is truly a culture of collaboration.
